	Bússola de Marear nasceu de uma necessidade de questionamento acerca da idéia filosófica de norte. Este norte, que nos guia, que parece estabelecer a direção à qual devemos nos posicionar, o norte a ser alcançado é a medida da própria falta de uma estrela que não vemos. Por que olhamos para um céu que não é nosso? Assim, a instalação de objetos busca descentralizar a idéia de norte, a partir de agulhas de aço colocadas sobre uma camada de limalha de ferro que atuam no campo magnético de modo a tirar o magnetismo da bússola e dos ponteiros de aço (construídos especialmente para o trabalho). Sem a indicação do ponteiro podemos realmente apontar e sugerir outras direções. O polo norte geográfico difere do polo norte magnético. Essa diferenciação ocorreu por conta da convenção que países imperialistas estabeleceram desde a época dos descobrimentos e impuseram sobre os outros a idéia de que eles seriam a referência, de que eles seriam o lugar para o qual se quer ir, o norte. Entender esse pensamento é fundamental para que possamos criar novas narrativas acerca do nosso lugar no mundo, do Sul Global e nos recolocarmos no nosso centro narrativo, seja ele geográfico, seja ele interno. Nessa medida, o trabalho pretende estabelecer uma relação paralela com uma idéia de espaço geopolítico junto com o espaço da micropolítica através dessas novas bússolas que serão colocados em pequenos objetos que usualmente temos em casa, como um vaso, uma saboneteira ou uma forma de bolo.
